A share in the Bahama Village Docks, Inc, is attached to the ownership of that property and may be transferred to the new owners as part of the sale which will allow the new owners use of a slip in the BVD Docks for a fee. I’ve attached a draft of the disclosure agreement (see Document attachment) that lays out the details of this shareholding system and the process for transfer of the share. We shall forward you and all associated parties (including your escrow company) a copy of this agreement with associated supporting documents when we are informed that a sale is pending. Note that this is a draft document and there may be slight changes before it is finally approved. Note also that the slips are all in the process of renovation. The slips in front of 23 Catspaw Cape will be complete with brand new utilities by mid-May 2024. At that time, a shareholder who slips a boat there will accrue a monthly fee of approximately $188.00 for a side tie for a 29 foot boat with water and electricity included. A comparable slip in a South Bay Marina would be at least $700.00 with additional costs for membership, electricity and other services. A shareholder who does not slip a boat incurs no monthly fee. All shareholders pay an annual fee to offset shared costs of upkeep and maintenance.
